Grosse’s reported character’s real name is Eric Williams, the brother of the titular protagonist. In the comics, he leaned to a more criminal element after living in his brother’s shadow and being ostracized by their family all his life. Eric, after becoming the Grim Reaper and dealing with the death of his brother, eventually leads a group called the Lethal Legion against the Avengers. Overall, he has a complicated past and a strife-filled future.
The details for Wonder Man are being kept tightly under wraps, so exact plot details and a release date have not been announced yet. Marvel Studios television projects have a habit of showing a hero’s origin to some degree, so it could focus on the evolution of Simon Williams to Wonder Man and the devolution of his brother Eric to the Grim Reaper.
