Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Asks Paris Museum To Make Improvements To Wax Statue
The Grévin Museum in Paris might be in for a smackdown from former DC Studios Black Adam, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, after the reveal of their wax figure of the movie star. In a post made on social media, Johnson reposted a video of comedian James Andre Jefferson Jr. roasting the figure.
Johnson appears to take the statue and video in good humor, remarking, “I knew my boy @jamesjeffersonj had this Rock wax statue in his roasting crosshairs…’ is this how ya’ll felt when you lost the Little Mermaid?’ 🤣 legit belly laughed at this.”

However, Johnson continued by remarking that his team would contact the Grévin Museum to update the figure, starting with the actor’s accurate skin color. The museum responded to Deadline via email how Johnson was correct to respond as he did and they will “obviously remedy it as quickly as possible and send him new photos once completed.”
No matter the good humor between the two parties, the internet went ablaze with comments such as “the rock is Samoan/African American, but yours looks like an Eastern European plumber.” At the same time, others made comparisons to Mr. Clean, the icon figurehead of the cleaning company.
Nonetheless, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson closed his post on a lighter note by remarking, “And the next time I’m in Paris, I’ll stop in and have a drink with myself.”
