Gone Gold, 'Star Wars Outlaws' Has
Star Wars Outlaws is the newest upcoming Star Wars game. It’s also considered the first “open-world” Star Wars game. The upcoming game was first shown to the world in 2023, but fans got to learn even more about it this year at the Ubisoft Forward Event. The game releases at the end of August, and Massive Entertainment has given an update that the game has officially “gone gold”.
A game “going gold” means that the development of a game is finished. The company can then go ahead and start printing discs, and shipping to various retailers around the world. Essentially, the studio is preparing the game for its official release on August 30th. They will also continue to work out any quirks the game still might have, and develop a “Day One’ patch, which is the new normal for video games nowadays.
