HBO Drops First Teaser Trailer For Upcoming Series 'The Penguin' Starring Colin Farrell
Gotham has a new kingpin and his name is Cobblepot. HBO Max has released the first teaser for the upcoming series The Penguin, and it is full of mob mayhem. Set after the events of Matt Reeve's The Batman, The Penguin will follow Oswald Cobblepot as he pieces together his new criminal empire.
The teaser begins by showing the still-flooded Gotham that was left behind after The Riddler blew up the retaining walls of the city. Penguin is shown looking out at the city in what appears to be Carmine Falcone's old hideout in the Iceberg Lounge. This is followed by shots of Cobblepot meeting with other mob members, threatening those who undermine him, and being held down in a chair as someone tries to stab him.
