Nicolas Cage's Identity Revealed In Prime Video's 'Spider-Man Noir' Series
When Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse first hit theaters, it didn't take long for many Spider-Man fans to realize the endless potential that a "Spiderverse" could entail. It helped that the film not only pointed the spotlight onto the heroes everyone is already familiar with (Miles Morales, Gwen Stacey, and Peter Parker) but also showed off some fresh meat. What good is a whole system of multiverses with different "Spidermen" if we don't get to see them?
While the infamous Peter Porker and anime-inspired Peni Parker have their fair share of fanbases, it would be a pleasant surprise that the comically serious 1930s P.I. known as "Spider-Noir" would receive the green light to have his spin-off series. Naturally, it only seemed fair that they brought back Nicolas Cage to reprise his role.

Unlike previous Spider-Man entries that follow the life of Peter Parker, Spider-Man Noir follows the life of private investigator Ben Reilly, who helps uncover the corruption of 1933's New York City while investigating the death of Edward Addison. Naturally, in doing so, Reilly would become the 'Spider-Man' archetype, using that to his advantage against the corrupt government and various crime bosses.
Not much is known about how Reilly developed his superpowers, but one can imagine given the history of Spider-Man. Seeing as how this show has the privilege of showcasing a fresh, yet familiar, take on the Spider-Man story, it can be safely assumed that the writers and directors will be bolder and more varied with the superhero's line of morals and ethics.
To find out for yourself just what a private investigator-turned-superhero goes through within the seedy underbelly of 1930s New York City, keep an eye on Amazon Prime for further details!
