'Stranger Things' Season 5 Coming To Netflix In 2025
Talk about the final season of Stranger Things being released in 2025 has been floating for a while, but now it seems a bit more concrete. During the Next on Netflix event under the topic of Returning Favorites for 2025, Stranger Things was specifically named, further confirming the aim of a release later this year. Not only that, but the episode titles have been released! There will be eight episodes in total, going in order by chapters, The Crawl, The Vanishing Of, The Turnbow Trap, Sorcerer, Shock Jock, Escape from Camazotz, The Bridge, and The Rightside Up.
Towards the end of 2024, series co-creator Ross Duffer wrote in an Instagram caption, “...Everyone involved was determined to bring this story to a satisfying conclusion. They poured their hearts and souls into it, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve accomplished. We can’t wait to share it with you all next year. Until then — over and out.” During the Netflix event, co-creator Matt Duffer shared a similar sentiment (via The Hollywood Reporter), “The show means so much to all of us, and everyone put their hearts and souls into it. And we hope — and believe — that passion will translate to the screen.” Time, care, and devotion are being taken to create a satisfying product for both fans and those creatively involved with the show alike.
