'Subnautica' Developers Say The Third Installment Will Come In 2024
The underwater adventure game Subnautica was a huge hit. With its hidden story, interesting mechanics, unique play style, and the “Let’s Plays” of many YouTubers, most notably Markiplier, the game did very well. The sequel, set on an icy planet and titled Subnautica: Below Zero, wasn’t quite as much of a success as its predecessor, but it was still a hit with gamers and critics.
Now the time has come for the next installment.

Unknown Worlds, the the team behind the first two games, has revealed that it has been working on the third entry in the series, with early access to the game coming sometime in 2024 and the full game being released in 2025. So far there has been no information given about the game play, or even hints about what the story is or where it will take place. One thing that is pretty certain is that the game will be underwater, with players scrounging for blueprints and resources to survive. While we don’t have much to go off of, we do have the good news that we’re getting a new installment of the beloved underwater survival game. We’ll have to see how it turns out.
