The Reveal Of 'Sonic 3' Logo Teases Shadow The Hedgehog
More news about the third Sonic film is speeding our way! The new logo for the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film has been revealed in a teaser released earlier this week on X. This new logo is very reminiscent of the one for the 2001 Dreamcast title, Sonic Adventure 2, and it is accompanied by a version of the song “Live and Learn” from that very same game. It also features the laugh of Dr. Robotnik or an unknown figure. Speaking of Robotnik, it has been confirmed that Jim Carrey will be returning to the role for this film.
Other actors joining the cast include Krysten Ritter, Alyla Browne, James Wolk, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, and Jorma Taccone. There is no word on who they will be playing, however. Furthermore, we still have no confirmation on who could be voicing the iconic edgy hedgy, Shadow the Hedgehog, but there is a rumor that indicates Anakin Skywalker himself, Hayden Christensen, might be the one voicing the character. Some fans even thought they heard his voice in the iconic laugh at the end of the teaser. Only time will tell who will be donning the black and red quills. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 speeds into theaters on December 20th of this year.
