With much anticipation, the writers for The Mandalorian season 3 have been listed. The lineup includes Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, as well as the addition of Noah Kloor, a staff writer from the Book of Boba Fett. Filoni is listed under 2 episodes, the fourth and seventh. This begs the question of when his characters are coming to the screen.

This information comes from the Writers Guild of America West. The information contained in the "Find a Writer" database is the most current and accurate available to the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW). Some of the data is self-reported by writers and not independently verified by WGAW. Users of the database accept the data as is, with no warranty of its accuracy stated or implied.

Filoni was a writer for episode 5 of the previous season, which featured Ahsoka and included a name-drop for Grand Admiral Thrawn. This is a blatant connection to Star Wars Rebels, also created by Filoni. Knowing which episodes he writes for could be an indication of their direction; it is definitely something to keep an eye on.

The slate of writers may be small, but it includes people who definitely know what they are doing. Two years have gone by since the finale of season 2, so a careful amount of time has clearly been put into the product coming. These writers will grow the MandoVerse for the better based on their skills.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian is set to release on March 1st, 2023, streaming on Disney+. With the return of the father/son duo will come further development regarding the Darksaber situation. Seeing where the season goes will certainly be something, so keep an eye out!
