The newest Star Wars show, Skeleton Crew, recently wrapped up. It is currently unknown if the show will get a second season.
The show gave fans a fresh perspective of the universe, as we got to see it through children's eyes. It was a a great new addition to the universe, and had some great moments. Let’s take a look at some of these moments.

While the show, and this article, primarily focus on the children, their parents had their moments too. One of these moments was when they defied the rules of At Attin, and successfully launched a transmitter past the barrier, to communicate with their kids.
4: Jod Betraying The Kids

We didn’t know much about Jod in the beginning but thought he would be a decent guy, considering he took these children under his wing. We thought it was because he wanted to keep them safe, but it turns out he had ulterior motives.
Once he found out the children were from the lost planet of At Attin, all bets were off. He was going to stop at nothing to find the planet and find the lost treasure. They successfully make their way home, but unfortunately, Jod finds his way to At Attin as well, where he tricks the droids in charge and takes over the mint. Greed of course never ends well, and Jod loses it all in the end.
3: Fern and Wim Holding the Lightsaber

Throughout the show, Fern and Wim butted heads. While Fern may have been the leader, Wim always wanted to do things his way. He and Fern didn’t always get along, but when they came up against Jod, they put their differences aside and were able to help each other defeat Jod.
One of these moments was when Wim grabbed Jod’s lightsaber. Jod used force to try and retrieve his lightsaber from Wim and was almost successful until Fern came and helped Wim hold onto the saber. It’s not a big moment, but it shows how far they have come as characters.
2: KB Saving The Day

KB was the one to save the day. She was able to fly their ship off of At Attin, once the barrier was down, and the ship was released. She got the message out to the owl creature, who successfully managed to contact the New Republic.
Unfortunately, she was shot down, and her friends saw the ship go down in the distance. After they left Jod, they headed to the crash site and found out that KB was very much alive. It resulted in an adorable hug from the four friends.

KB was proof that your disability doesn’t diminish your worth. Sometimes you might be a bit slower or need extra help, but it shouldn’t mean that you are disrespected. When Wim and KB are separated from Fern and Neel, her head visor needs to be recharged. She confides in Wim, and he doesn’t hesitate to help her. She confesses that she’s scared of admitting that she can’t do everything Fern can do and that if she does, she may lose her friends. Wim however reassures her that she would still be friends with him and Neel. It’s a cute, and important, moment between two children.
Skeleton Crew was a breath of fresh air to the Star Wars universe. The show was a ton of fun and extremely enjoyable. It also had its share of wonderful moments. Even though it may not get a second season, let’s hope we see some of these characters again in future projects.
