Previously in the first season of Ahsoka, we saw a handful of unresolved cliffhanger storylines. Fans have desperately been waiting for resolutions as we saw Ezra Brider’s reunion with Hera Syndulla, Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Great Mothers heading for Dathomir, Sabine, and Ahsoka stranded on Peridea, and more.

Fans can rejoice as recent news has confirmed that Ahsoka season two is officially under production, with filming kicking off in the UK. This sees a departure for the show, which was previously filmed in Los Angeles, suggesting the show might introduce some startling new locales not previously shown in the series.

Actor Eman Sfandi (Ezra Bridger) recently shared an Instagram post celebrating the start of production. For now, any additional details about the season are being kept under wraps, but it has been confirmed that Rory McCann, best known as Sandor Clegane in Game of Thrones, will replace the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll.

Dave Filoni returns as showrunner and executive producer, while stars Rosario Dawson, Natasha Lie Bordizzo, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are all expected to reprise their roles. The series remains a key project for Lucasfilm, promising to dive deeper into the broader Star Wars Rebels storylines and setting longtime fans up for future developments in the Star Wars universe.
