Anne Hathaway And Zendaya Join Tom Holland And Matt Damon In Christopher Nolan's Next Film
The MCU’s youngest couple, Tom and Holland, and Zendaya will reunite in an upcoming film directed and written by Christopher Nolan. Holland shared his enthusiasm, “I’m incredibly excited. And, obviously, honored, but that’s all I can say because, to be honest, that’s all I know.” Holland is also preparing to return to the role of Peter Parker in the MCU’s fourth Spider-Man film, but it is unknown if Zendaya will return as MJ.
In addition to the young couple, Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway have joined the Nolan project. Hathaway worked with Nolan before on Interstellar and The Dark Knight. After starring as Fantine in Les Mis, Hathaway faced a turning point in her career due to a perceived toxic online identity. Nolan shut out the outside and cast Hathaway based on talent alone. Hathaway expressed her gratitude, “I had an angel in Christopher Nolan, who did not care about that and gave me one of the most beautiful roles I’ve had in one of the best films that I’ve been a part of [Interstellar]...And my career did not lose momentum the way it could have if he hadn’t backed me.” Like Holland, Hathaway is set to return to one of her most iconic roles as Princess Mia in the upcoming Princess Diaries 3. While details are still concealed, Nolan’s film is scheduled to release on July 17, 2026.
