Christopher Lloyd And Four Other Actors Revealed To Be In Upcoming 'Knuckles' TV Show
The new entry into the Sonic Cinematic Universe, the upcoming Knuckles show on Paramount+, has just gained a whole bunch of star power. Doc Brown actor Christopher Lloyd will be joining the cast of the upcoming title. This news comes after Kid Cudi said that filming had wrapped up, and the show is set for a Fall release, so while it is implied the actor’s appearance will be in the first season of the show, it has not been confirmed either way. Other actors joining the cast include Stockard Channing (known for West Wing and Six Degrees of Separation), Rob Huebel (known for Bob’s Burgers and Children’s Hospital), Paul Scheer (known for Veep and The Greatest Event in Television History), and Wesley of The Princess Bride fame himself, Cary Elwes.
The show focuses on Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba, reprising his role from Sonic the Hedgehog 2) as he trains Deputy Wade Whipple (played by Adam Pally) in the ways of the echidna warrior. Also featured in this series are Kid Cudi, Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, Ellie Taylor, Roy McCann, and Tika Sumpter, who will be reprising her role as Maddie Wachowski. The series is set for a Fall release on Paramount+.
