'Hogwarts Legacy' Will Be Delayed On The Nintendo Switch, PS4, And Xbox One

As many have noticed, Hogwarts Legacy has multiple release dates now. Given the previous delay, some may be thankful that Xbox X/S, PS5, and PC are still due for a release on time on February 10th, 2023; however, many Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch players are likely to be disappointed by the newest delay. Xbox One and PS4 players can look forward to April 4th, 2023, and Nintendo Switch users must save the date for July 25th, 2023 to be able to play. Fans shouldn’t be too disheartened, especially fans of Star Wars: The Old Republic’s light and dark side system; they can still excitedly anticipate the chance to delve into the morality of exploring the forbidden dark arts.

For those unsure of this solo wizarding adventure, Hogwarts Legacy’s story takes place in the 1800s, long before the young He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named opened the Chamber of Secrets. The gameplay will revolve around spellcasting, potion-making, and magical herbology! Fans may find Portkey Games Hogwarts Legacy: The Official Game Guide (soon to be published by Scholastic on March 7th, 2023) to be incredibly helpful in digging up Hogwarts’ secrets and learning more exclusive character information.

Don’t forget, players can link their wizarding information at any time for the following in-game rewards: artsy wallpaper of Hogsmeade, house-specific robes, and an elegant beaked mask. The wizarding details imported to the game would be the player’s Hogwarts house, Patronus, and wand specifications. These fun personal details are found through a set of quizzes found at the Wizarding World website, formerly named Pottermore. Simply go to Wizarding World, log in, complete those specified quizzes (if you haven’t yet), and click the Hogwarts Legacy page to scroll down to find the section labeled “Free Hogwarts Legacy items exclusively for Fan Club members” to easily link your Wizarding World account to the Warner Bros. host site for Hogwarts Legacy.
