New 'Harry Potter' Quidditch Game In Development From Unbroken Studios, Features Online Multiplayer
With a new Harry Potter TV series and the Hogwarts Legacy video game, fans face no shortage of ways to explore the Wizarding World. Now, Warner Bros. has announced a new game focusing solely on Quidditch. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is being developed by Unbroken Studios and Portkey Games.
The game will feature online multiplayer and character customization. Quidditch Champions will host a playtest on April 21 and 22. Interested players have to fill out an intense questionnaire for the chance of being a beta tester. In the test, players will have a choice to play as seekers, keepers, beaters, or chasers, which implies a single specialty rather than controlling a whole team like in traditional sports games.

Portkey Games announced the title will come to PC and consoles but did not specify which consoles. According to the game’s official FAQ, “Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is a complete, standalone Quidditch experience. It engages players in the sport of Quidditch and other broomstick adventures alongside friends in a competitive, multiplayer setting.” The game is not a direct adaptation of any existing books. No release date has been announced but fans who missed the sport in Hogwarts Legacy will be glad to have a Quidditch arena when the game finally releases.
