Season 3 Of 'Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League' Has Debuted To Less Than 300 Steam Players
It would be a touch of an understatement to say that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been something of an… unmitigated disaster. The game was highly anticipated upon release, but repetitive gameplay, horrible live service, mediocre mechanics, and a hit-and-miss story. The game debuted to 13,000 players on Steam, but its general lack of quality quickly drove players away. The release of Season 2 didn’t help matters, with less than six hundred players at its peak.
Things aren’t looking up. Season three has come out with a debut of less than of only 248 players. For reference, more people are playing Knights of the Old Republic II right now. At this rate, season four is going to come out to fifty people playing it, and they’ll all be YouTubers who are doing it for their job. The game has to be losing money hand over fist, and the numbers still aren’t helped by its $70-$100 price tag. One has to wonder how much money the developers are losing every time they work on this game.
The numbers aren’t lying. The fans have spoken and spoken emphatically by not really speaking about the game at all. It might be time to shutter this one and move on to something else.
Anything else.
