'The Rings Of Power' Season 2 Trailer Drops At SDCC
The San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing, and it has brought an exciting look at the second season of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The wait for this season is drawing closer to an end, bringing new content to build anticipation. A full new trailer was released during a panel at Hall H, giving fans a more in-depth idea of what’s to come.
Further Middle-earth lore is being displayed on-screen. A disguised Sauron is presented front and center. Arguments surrounding the rings and whether the wearer has control over themselves are heard; the contrast between the opening narration and the ring falling towards Galadriel provides support for the conflict. As the trailer’s description states, “Beware the promise of gifts.” Not all is as it seems, and Sauron’s deceit has far-reaching consequences. The production certainly isn’t skimping on CGI and special effects quality either; from different species to artfully designed Entwives, and no hesitation surrounding on-screen wounds, the trailer feels alive and immersible. A balance of dialog and action is displayed in this deeper look at the season.
