'Wuthering Waves' Headed For PS5 And PS4

Interesting news has been released regarding the upcoming animated RPG Wuthering Waves during the Unreal Fest ‘23 in Shanghai. The game will reportedly be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 upon the full release. It was already confirmed for PC, Android, and IOS; adding PlayStation availability makes the game more accessible to a wider player base.
Wuthering Waves is a roleplaying game centered on player-versus-enemy combat. The world is set a century after an apocalyptic event struck the land; those who survived made peace with each other, but danger still lurks. The exact details of the game’s plot can change as it develops. Visually and game-type-wise, some have compared it to Genshin Impact. Following the first Closed Beta in mid 2023, the game’s developer Kuro Game reportedly took the players’ feedback to heart, revamping the storyline, improving the gameplay experience, and repairing performance issues, among other things. It will seemingly have a pay-to-recharge feature built into it, though the game itself is free to play. There is no official release date for the full game as of yet.

The Closed Beta II is currently open for the game, and you can apply for a slot through their website here. This Beta round will be available for PC, IOS, and Android. The publisher has made it clear that “all game data will be cleared after the test ends.” This round closes on February 7, 2024, so look into it while you can!
