First Trailer For 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Has Dropped

After teasing the release of the first trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, we now have lift-off! That first trailer shows the heroes of Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm with their current powers. Along with showing the Baxter building and the retro-futurism theming, there is also a tease of Galactus with a shadow looming over New York City.

The trailer expresses that this is going to be the origin of the four gaining their powers and finding their flame as heroes, coming together as the Fantastic Four. As Sue Storm says in the trailer, “Whatever life throws at us, we’ll face it together.” Only small glimpses of the powers in action are seen, though the threat they face is felt. Along with Galactus, Silver Surfer will also pose a danger to Earth.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be the first film of phase six of the MCU. Starring Pedro Pascal (Mister Fantastic), Venessa Kirby (Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing), and Joseph Quinn (Human Torch), the four will be playing a large part in the future Avengers films. As for the villains, Ralph Ineson will be portraying Galactus, while Julia Garner will portray Silver Surfer. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will arrive on July 25.
