Anthony Daniels, the man behind C-3PO, has been in nearly every theatrical Star Wars film, even Solo: A Star Wars Story, where he played a prisoner named Tak instead of the droid. This raises the question of which of the films he appeared in was his favorite. In terms of quality, his favorite to film was Episode IV: A New Hope. At FanX Salt Lake Pop Culture & Comic Convention, he said, “The reason for that is it was a very simple story. You had Luke, who was the hero who comes from nothing, and he meets people on the way, the classic journey. And then you have a bad person called Darth Vader, at that time we don’t know that it’s his daddy. And so, I understood it.”
Anthony Daniels’ favorite story to film, however, is surprising: Episode IX: The Rise of Shywalker. He has stated, “I had such fun with the new cast, particularly. Oscar Isaac, truly one of the best actors to be in a Star Wars movie.” He has said that, while he didn’t find the film itself to be that good, he still enjoyed working on it, claiming, “It’s part of the saga, so you’re stuck with it.” With that, we can return to the unknown regions of the internet.
