No, this is not an early April Fools’ Day joke, Luke Skywalker has come to Galaxy’s Edge. The hero of the Original Trilogy, this iconic figure will be staying at Disney World for a limited time. From March 28th until May 11th, park visitors will be able to interact with the hero of the rebellion as part of “Star Wars: Season of the Force”, a new nighttime experience. Season of the Force will have various other events throughout the period, serving as a celebration of the Skywalker Saga and beyond. We’re just in the middle of it, with more to come.

Luke Skywalker was the original hero of the Star Wars saga. It was his story, just as the prequels were Anakin’s and, like it or not, the sequels were Rey’s. Fans should be able to relish the chance to meet up with such an iconic figure. We don’t know who the actor is playing Luke, but it clearly isn’t Mark Hamill. As stated before, this is just one of many events planned for Season of the Force, including new experiences and expansions. For future updates on the Galaxy Far, Far Away, we will be returning to the unknown regions of the internet, and preparing some special articles soon.
