Talk About Stranger Things: Netflix Looking To Open A Restaurant In Los Angeles. Yes, You Read That Right.
Netflix recently made the news for its crackdown on password sharing, but it seems that isn’t the company’s only big shake-up. Netflix plans to go from screen to table with a pop-up restaurant in Los Angeles’ Short Stories Hotel.
The restaurant will be open from June 30 to July 13 with brunch features on the weekends. The restaurant will bring in an assortment of guests from the platform’s cooking shows.

Curtis Stone, the champion from the Iron Chef series, Dominique Green from Chef’s Table, and Nadiya Hussain from The Great British Baking Show are a few of the restaurant’s carefully selected chefs.
Ming Tsai from Iron Chef, Ann Kim of Chef’s Table Pizza, and Rodney Scott known for Chef’s Table BBQ will also join the restaurant venture. Rounding out the team is Jacques Torres, known for his appearances on Nailed It! and by his nickname Mr. Chocolate, and Andrew Zimmern, an Iron Chef judge,
No menu items have been revealed yet, but the basic premise is celebrity chefs you watch on TV cooking your favorite meals. Although the menu is being kept under wraps, Dextero shared some promo images of the restaurant on their Twitter account. Time will tell how successful Netflix is in the food business, but, as they say, stranger things have happened.
