It's hard to believe that it's already been 20 years since the release of Revenge Of The Sith. The movie was the last in the prequel trilogy, showing Anakin's turn to the Dark Side and into the Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Recently, Disney has been rereleasing the movies in theaters in honor of their anniversaries. The Phantom Menace and Return Of The Jedi were both re-released in theaters. To keep up with this trend, Disney is re-releasing Revenge Of The Sith in theaters, in honor of its 20th anniversary.

Fans of the prequels can catch the film in select theaters for one week only, starting on April 25th. Screenings will be available in various formats, including 4DX, for the first time. The 4DX experience will include high-tech motion chairs that will sync with over 21 effects, which have been designed to complement the film's narrative.

To commemorate the anniversary, a new poster for the film's re-release has also been revealed. It was created by artist Matt Ferguson, who also did the poster art for The Phantom Menace and Return Of The Jedi re-releases. The poster features the looming mask of Darth Vader, enveloping Anakin Skywalker on his march to execute Order 66. It also includes an illustration of the iconic duel between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and the skyline of Coruscant with warships over the burning Jedi Temple.

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith re-releases in theaters starting April 25th.
